National Account Executive
As a National Account Executive with Hello USA!, Valerie works with our clients to find the most creative and cost effective solutions for their destination management needs in all of our locations. Valerie is committed to, "getting it right for the client by under promising and over delivering on each and every program”.
Prior to Hello USA! Valerie was the owner and president of the The Key Event Group, a premier destination management company in Nashville for 12 years. Before starting The Key Event Group, she served as Director of Special Events at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, and she also spent two years in New York City managing special events for Macy's branches stores.
Valerie is an active member of Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME), she is Chair of ADME's Certification and Accreditation Board, and she serves as ADME's Ethics Chair for the past three years. In addition she is a member of PCMA and MPI. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) since 2001 and Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) since 2002.
Valerie attended the University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor's degree in Communications, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Marketing.
Away from work, Valerie likes to play tennis, cards and watch Alabama football. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and watching their two sons play sports.
